Thinking of a Vacation in Nassau?

If you want to vacation on New Providence Island then you will probably be staying in Nassau. In Nassau you have a few choices. Some are more luxury  (Baha Mar), some romantic (Sandals) and some are more Interesting (Margaritaville).

Nassau is the capital of the Bahamas. Nassau is home to souvenir markets like the Straw Market to Fort Fincastle and the Queens Steps. You can find some authentic souvenirs, but they really are your typical tourist trap other than locally produced clothing.

Nassau is also home to local bars and nightclubs, but on the whole they are not very up-market.

For a more luxurious experience head to Baha Mar, an exclusive development along the island’s central north coast. At Baha Mar, many of the world’s most famous luxury resort brands live together within the beautiful gated community. Baha Mar overlooks Cable Beach.

Baha Mar also includes extravagant boutiques and shops, plus gambling at the largest casino in the Caribbean.

The Sandals all-inclusive resort is adults only, so could be the most appropriate choice for a couples getaway.

Margaritavile is fun, fun, fun with lots to do for all the family. Margaritaville is also very close to downtown for some daytime strolling.

Almost all trips to The Bahamas fly into New Providence Island before continuing on with alternative transport such as sea plane, chartered ship or ferry.
